BEWARE OF THESE 5 THINGS WHILE DESIGNING A WEBSITE
The results of an excellent website designing can be well off if done beautifully. Website designing covers many imperative aspects. Though it includes many of them, it excludes some too. Design of any website depends mostly on what to avoid rather than what to do. Once you shun the unnecessary things, you are good to go.
The design changes as per the requirement. But there are some rules you need to follow while designing a sound website. If you want your website design to be flawless, consider avoiding the following flaws.
1. Waiting
Let them wait and patience won't be waiting anymore. Making the visitors wait until the whole website load kills their curiosity and patience too. The quicker it does appear, the more the chances of retention. The users have the choice to leave while surfing your website. They do leave if they can't find what they want by far. Don't overload the website with multiple heavy graphics. Have the selected ones on the screen and let them lead the visitors.
2. Overlooking the Conventions
In order to present incomparable, don't design something incompatible. Your website should be unique but at the same time, it should be comprehensible. Placing essential elements at the usual can be predictable but remember, this is the only way you can navigate the visitors right.
3. Jumbled Fonts
Only a couple looks pretty when tangled, not fonts.
The right size and style of a font improvise the look of your website and make it more understandable. Clear font style and reasonable size make it look more attractive. Using many styles and sizes confounds the user.
4. Using Typical Images & Icons
Avoid using regular icons. They lessen the effect of the overall design. You should use unique yet appropriate icons. As for the images, use high-quality pictures on the website. High-resolution images enrich the design quality too. Use a variety of them. Their eye-pleasing look feels rich.
5. Confusing Layout
Kids love to solve puzzles, not web surfers.
The overall layout of a website should be interlinked. Decide on the layout first and design accordingly. Don't make the visitor try to figure it out what your website is all about. Keep it simple and logical.
A website needs to give the awesome look & feel that satisfy the visitor's eyes as well as heart. Avoid these critical hassles and it never fails you.
